“As National Director, I am honoured to have the opportunity to once again guide, mentor and groom these girls, and transform them into young women who are strong, confident and ready to take on the world. The journey will not be an easy one, and they will need to be prepared physically, mentally and emotionally.”
“Our theme this year – ‘Beauty Beyond You’ embodies the passion, dedication and spirit behind this competition, where young women from all over the nation come together to showcase their incredible drive and determination to succeed. This is more than a beauty pageant, I can assure you that. This is a platform that will be life changing, a stepping stone to greater heights, one that will open doors for these young women here to opportunities beyond their imagination. I am eager to bring out the best in them, and lead them on this amazing path that I once walked on,” she added.
Datin Elaine Daly continued, “We are also thrilled to announce that for this year, we will have with us none other than the beautiful, talented and very fit Miss Universe Malaysia 2012 Ms Kimberley Leggett joining us as host of Miss Universe Malaysia 2018. And to add to that, we are excited to have our title sponsor ZALORA on board for this pageant for the very first time. We have a few more surprises in store, so make sure to stay tuned!”
