It is with great pride and purpose that I welcome you to Miss Universe Malaysia – a platform dedicated to celebrating the journey and individuality of women across our nation.

I am Charissa Chong, the National Director of Miss Universe Malaysia Organisation. I’m here to redefine what it means to lead with authenticity, vision and purpose.
As a former Miss Malaysia with a longstanding presence in the pageantry, entertainment, and fashion industries, I bring over a decade of experience as a model, public figure, judge, and mentor and have represented Malaysia multiple times in international pageants.

Miss Universe Malaysia stands as more than a pageant, it is a transformative journey. Our mission is to uplift women to articulate their unique stories, embrace their personal evolution, and become inspiration for the nation. Our tagline this year, “Redefining Your Journey,” is a call to action; to rise with resilience and substance, break boundaries, and boldly rewrite the narrative of who you are and the future you forge.

With professionalism, integrity, and heart, I lead with a focus to provide a supportive, aspirational environment that nurtures talent and celebrates diversity in all its forms. Together with our team and partners, we aim to set a new standard for pageantry in Malaysia; one that is evolving, progressive and meaningful.
